Our Orathai bags are handwoven by skilled female artisans across Thailand, including communities in Phayao, Chiang Mai, Phatthalung, and Nakhon Si Thammarat. After weaving is complete, each bag is sent to our central hub in Nakhon Sawan. There, it is reviewed, photographed, and packed for international shipment. The dispatch hub helps us maintain a consistent process for quality checks and efficient logistics. This structure supports our weavers while giving customers a seamless experience from craft to delivery. Every Orathai bag passes through this hub before heading to you.
Every Bag is Checked, Photographed, and Packed with Care
Before we send any Orathai Woven Straw Tote, we thoroughly inspect the bag for quality. Our team checks the stitching, structure, and finish to ensure the product meets our high standards. We then photograph and record the bag in its final condition. This is part of our quality assurance process and protects both the customer and the artisan. Each tote is placed inside a white cotton drawstring pouch for protection during shipping. This pouch also doubles as a convenient storage bag at home. We take pride in sending each product in perfect, presentable condition.

Customisation and Bespoke Orders
If your Orathai bag is personalised with embroidery, initials, or chosen in one of our nine custom colour options, it will be made to order. This requires a production lead time of 14 to 21 working days. Once finished, the bag is sent to our central dispatch team for a final quality check. Only after this inspection is it packaged and sent out using EMS. You will then receive your tracking number. Please allow this full production time in addition to the regular shipping estimate for all custom items.
Tracking and Monitoring Your Parcel
As soon as we dispatch your Orathai tote, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your parcel on the EMS website or through your local courier service once it enters your country. If you do not receive the tracking information within 24 hours of dispatch, we recommend checking your spam or junk folder. Local Couriers After EMS Handover
Once EMS transfers your package to your local delivery network, it is processed and delivered according to your country’s standard procedures. We encourage customers to follow their local postal updates using the EMS tracking number provided. Most deliveries arrive smoothly, but in the rare event of delay or misrouting, we are happy to help you follow up and get things resolved.
Import Charges and Customs
Depending on your location, local customs may apply import duties, taxes, or VAT. These charges are not included in the purchase price or EMS shipping rate and are the responsibility of the customer. Ensure Accurate Address Information
We kindly ask you to double-check your shipping address at the time of ordering. If the parcel is returned due to incorrect address details or failure to collect, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. The customer will be responsible for the second shipping charge. The original shipping fee will not be refunded in such cases. Providing accurate delivery details from the start ensures that your Orathai tote reaches you quickly and without any interruptions or extra costs.
Handling Returned Parcels
If your parcel is returned to our Thai hub for any reason, we’ll let you know right away. You can either cancel the order or request a redelivery. We are happy to help, but resending the package will require payment of a second EMS shipping fee. Our team will provide the details and timeline for redelivery so there’s no confusion. We keep full photographic and video records of each item before it is shipped to prevent any issues during the return or redelivery process.

At checkout, you’ll see the exact EMS rate for your country. We don’t add fees for packing, handling, or admin. Returns, Refunds, and Damage Policy
All bags are inspected and documented before dispatch. If your Orathai tote arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos or video proof. If approved, we will offer a full refund or a replacement. For returns not related to product faults, you have 14 days to send the bag back to our Nakhon Sawan hub using tracked airfreight. Once the return is received in its original condition, we will refund the product cost. Shipping fees are not refundable unless the item was faulty. Our return process is clear, structured, and made with fairness in mind.
