We don’t build this cost into our product prices, which means you only pay what we pay. It’s a fair, clear process for every customer.
From Village to Dispatch Hub with Care
The Piyanun tote is handwoven in one of our Thai artisan communities located in Phayao, Chiang Mai, Phatthalung, or Nakhon Si Thammarat. Once woven, it is sent to our central dispatch hub in Nakhon Sawan. From this hub, all international orders are processed, quality checked, and securely packed for shipment. Having one central shipping point ensures quality consistency and allows us to efficiently coordinate delivery for all handmade items. This flow from artisan to customer keeps our operations transparent and reliable, while supporting rural communities with fair and respectful work.
Pre-Dispatch Quality Check and Packaging
Before sending your Piyanun tote, we inspect every detail, from the weaving to the wooden handles. Our team photographs and records a video of your actual bag to verify its perfect handmade condition. Only bags that pass inspection are packaged. Each tote is placed inside a white cotton drawstring bag to protect it during shipping and keep it clean between uses. We use eco-conscious packaging materials that are recyclable or reusable, ensuring your order arrives safely and aligns with our commitment to sustainability.

Made-to-Order Production Timeline
If your Piyanun tote includes custom features like personalisation, added colour, or embroidered detail, our team will need 14 to 21 business days to complete production. After this, the bag will be transferred to our Nakhon Sawan hub for final quality checks and packaging. Only then will EMS shipping begin. Your tracking number is issued as soon as the parcel is posted. Production and shipping are two separate stages, so please allow for both if ordering a bespoke bag.

After dispatch, we will email you a valid EMS tracking number. This lets you monitor every step of your parcel’s route online. Local Postal Service Responsibility
Once your parcel arrives in your country, it is transferred to your national postal provider such as USPS, Royal Mail, or Australia Post. However, we will help you follow up with your local carrier and provide any documentation needed to assist with locating or resolving delivery issues. Our goal is always to make sure your bag reaches you.
Customs and Import Duties
Most of our international customers do not pay extra customs charges or taxes. However, depending on your local regulations, you may occasionally be asked to pay VAT or import fees. We will track the parcel, contact EMS if needed, and provide updates until your order arrives. Communication is key, and we always prioritise quick responses for shipping questions.
Make Sure Your Address is Correct
Before completing your purchase, double-check your delivery address. If the parcel is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we can re-send the item once you confirm the correct details. However, reshipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. The original shipping fee will not be refunded. This is why it’s so important to enter all address fields clearly, including postal codes, apartment numbers, and recipient names.
Returned Parcels and Reshipping Terms
If your parcel is returned to our hub for any reason, we will notify you and arrange to resend it. You’ll need to cover the cost of reshipping. We cannot refund the original shipping fee unless the error was ours. If the return was due to a local delivery issue or incomplete address, reshipping is the only available option. All returned items must be in perfect condition and in the original packaging to qualify for re-delivery.

Returns, Replacements, and Refunds
Every Piyanun tote is inspected before it leaves our hub. We document this by photo and video. If your bag arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of receiving it. You’ll need to provide photo or video evidence. Once approved, we’ll offer you a full refund or a replacement. If you wish to return a bag for any reason within 14 days, you may do so at your own cost. The item must be returned to our Nakhon Sawan hub using a tracked, airfreight service. Once received and inspected, we’ll refund the product cost but not the shipping.
