Phayao continues to serve as the foundation for all water hyacinth products in our range and plays a critical role in maintaining cultural craftsmanship through reliable employment.

In addition to Phayao, we support weaving and production teams in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, and Nakhon Sawan. These southern locations focus on crafting seagrass bags using native krajood straw. Final stitching and decorative finishing for products like the Intira Straw Summer Bag are completed in Chiang Mai, where artisans work in rural village communities. The Straw Bag Company now employs more than 80 people nationwide, including harvesters, weavers, stitchers, production leads, and quality control support.
